"City" is a type of geographical entity classified by hierarchy. A city is a type of municipality.

Comment: #$City is a specialization of GeopoliticalEntity whose territory is an instance of UrbanArea . Each instance of #$City is a local organization of a human settlement which has its own government. This includes cities, towns, suburbs, villages, hamlets, and townships, as long as they have their own governments. A city government is usually mostly autonomous from the governments of its surrounding regions, rather than being a sub-organization of them.

Some city block and some street are in every city.
Some school district is a suborganization of every city.

Every mayor is a leader of some city.
Every borough is part of some city.

Size:

Every city is between 1 and 25 kilometers long.
Every city is between 1 and 25 kilometers wide.
The surface area of every city is between 5 and 300 square kilometers.

Miscellaneous:

No contact location, no province, and no county are cities.
No city is a borough.

Every type of city, organized by country is a type of city. If some city government is a city government and it is the governing body of some political entity, then that political entity must be a city.
