Middle Eastern Country
Basic:
A Middle Eastern country is a type of country.
Documentation:
Comment: The collection of countries in southwest Asia or, in the case of Egypt, northeast Africa, in the vicinity of the eastern Mediterranean or the Persian Gulf. Admittedly, a certain amount of arbitrariness is inevitable in specifying which countries are Middle Eastern; still, we've sought a serviceable delimitation based on geography and common usage. Specifically, the members of this collection are Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
Miscellaneous:
Types of Middle Eastern country include Levant countries and Persian Gulf countries.
No Middle Eastern country is a European country or a South American country.
