| Comment: The village of MBoubene (full name: Al Madinatoul Islamiah MBoubene Peulh), the legal capital of Biffeche-KingdomOf . MBoubene is a village perched on high sand dune hills, reached from the city of Saint-Louis, Senegal, by road northeast through rural Senegal . It is in the SenegalRiver delta, a few miles from the river. It was formerly called 'Old Biffeche' and is sometimes called 'Biffeche City'. Its Biffeche EthnicGroupOfSererNdut people left for the VillageOfSavoigneBiffeche in the 1970's and they were replaced by Peulh ( EthnicGroupOfFula ) people. |
